Is the Ignite Vortex Ele comfortable? I'm currently playing Old Faithful RF, which may have 12divs in it, plus an Oriath. I'm looking for a build that's slightly zoomed in and dps higher, but still very comfortable and powerful. Is Ignite Vortex suitable for this? I'm currently watching the tripolar bear tutorial and I'll probably get 30 extra divs for it. Or should I keep farming and maybe aim for something like SST, maybe at 60div point? Or rather, when can there be SCT?
Ignite Vortex is a great build for mapping. 30waves simu and 100% Deli are doable, but mastery is bad (uber mastery). Anything less than uber is no problem at all. Flammability on attack is the way to map, greatly improving quality of life. Ignore the petrified blood of the three-pole guide.
There are tons of Ninja builds with high end gear and plants to peruse.
Scavenging is no problem: scavenging from trees, "bloody" trinkets (ignoring frost wakes), ideally dragging the implied leech on a helmet and you're gold . Adding 25% damage over 4 seconds will further improve survivability in the later stages. Just to let you know, I'm running all 30 batches of Simulacrum without Life Flask.
For Crucible, use Frenzy/Stamina/power on kill (75% less duration) in combination with 80% more duration. There are two approaches to disease immunity - Storm Shroud and Crucible Shockknot, or there is also another gem that adds disease protection at 50% reduction along with two reels on boots/shields.
Use Fan the Flames on a medium cluster to overgrow, this implicitly unlocks Fire dmg over time on the gauntlet.
And such... finally, it's a very capable build with 1 play button (shield charges through the maps) with the ability to have an archer's mark on some hardliners.
Don't expect a fake bonus 7, but 5-6 is easy. 7 is the EK/SST territory.
If comfort is most important to you, yes, this is a great build.
