Madden 22 was released Ultimate Season 1 with the launch of the game although it was technically available from August 12 due to EA Play Trial, EA Play Trial, the officially announced date for the start of the season was on August 20 and 2021. It's possible to see this change in line with the way EA intends to play Ultimate Season 2, but it is likely that we will see Ultimate Season 1 and and 2 start around the same time.
