Some players in the Harvest release are participating in real NFL games during Thanksgiving. The player cards are +1 OVR boosts when the team or player is able to achieve certain statistics in the Thanksgiving game.
Dak Prescott is one of the Dak Prescott is among the OVR Gameday All-Stars in Madden 22. Dak's card is based on the Improviser archetype, and features the 91 Throw Under Pressure, 90 Run, 91 Deep Accuracy, as well as 90 short accuracy. The other Gameday All-Stars are Eddie Jackson (Bears), T.J. Hockenson (Lions), as well as Hunter Renfrow (Raiders).
In the case of Eddie Jackson, if the Bears limit their opponent to less than 350 yards of offense, Jackson gets a +1 OVR. If he is able to record an interception during the game, he will also earn an additional OVR. Thus, Jackson could increase his OVR to the level of 93 OVR.
Hockenson's goals include him catching three passes, and/or scoring two touchdowns. For Renfrow to be successful, he must have 50 yards of receiving, or get two touchdowns. Dak must pass at least 400 yards, and / or score an interception. Each one of these will give you a +2 OVR boost, with players being able to go the maximum OVR of 93.
There's one less member in the Madden 99 team entering week 9 in the NFL season.
The video game franchise released the latest round of player updates following the week 8 results. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes lost one point on his overall rating to an 98.
Mahomes who happens to be sharing his Madden Cover together with Tom Brady for this year's game, hasn't been his usual dominant self this season.
No team in the league throws more than his 10 interceptions. The Chiefs are currently 4-4 as they battle turnovers and inconsistency. Although they beat the New York Giants in Week 8 they scored just 20 points (and best Mut 22 coins for sale on MMOexp), and managed to escape with three points in spite of another interception by Mahomes.
He also did not throw 300 or more yards, for the 5th time over the past six games.
Mahomes was not the only player to see a dip in ratings, either. Cleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper dropped three points to an overall score of 82. Hooper, who has been a two-time Pro Bowler, hasn't played any game with more than 42 yards of receiving this season.
The Thursday updates weren't all negative.
Kyle Pitts (up two points to 85) and Cordarrelle Patterson (up one point to 81) were rewarded as two important players in their respective teams in the Atlanta Falcons offense. Patterson was able to find the end zone in the latest defeat to the Carolina Panthers and continues to be a threat in two ways, in the running and catching game as well, while Pitts was averaging over 100 yards receiving in two consecutive matches against New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
